We Envision a Church Rooted in Relationship, Strengthening Families, and Reaching gretna with the Love of God

We dream of a church where people don't simply attend, but are truly and deeply connected and known, a church that feels like a healthy family, supporting each other through every joy and struggle. We desire to create a space where each person can use their gifts and talents to serve, a place where every person of every age is valued, encouraged, and challenged to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus. Recognizing that we are all imperfect and saved only by the grace of Jesus, we extend that same grace to hurting and broken people. We want to see the lonely develop lasting friendships, marriages become healthier, and families become stronger. We believe life change happens in community, and we plan to create opportunities to interact and grow--around tables, through prayer, and in everyday moments. We desire to impact Gretna and the Greater Omaha area deeply with the presence and love of God. But most importantly, we want to make the Bible our foundation and place Jesus firmly at the center of all we do.

We’re so glad you’re here! For years, we’ve dreamed of planting a church where families and neighbors can come together, grow in faith, and truly belong. Rooted Church is that dream coming to life—a place where relationships matter, the Word of God is our foundation, and Jesus is at the center of everything we do.

We believe church should feel like family. Whether it’s sharing a meal, laughing together, wrestling with life’s questions, or celebrating milestones, we want you and your family to feel at home here. No matter where you’re starting from—whether you’ve known Jesus for years or you’re just curious—there’s a place for you at Rooted Church.
